In addition to these points you should refer to your mower's manual
Cylinder Mowers (Domestic) - before cutting:
- Check engine oil levels before each cut
- Check throttle and clutch cables for condition
Cylinder Mowers (Domestic) - after cutting:
- Clean and lubricate your lawn mower
- Check blade condition and adjust - Ask yourself if it cuts
as cleanly and efficiently as it used to.
Cylinder Mowers (Domestic) - annually:
- Have your lawn mower serviced and sharpened by our workshop between
November and March.
Rotary Mower (Domestic) - before cutting:
- Check engine oil levels before each cut
- Check throttle and clutch cables for condition
Rotary Mower (Domestic) - after cutting:
- Clean and lubricate your lawn mower
Rotary Mower (Domestic) - annually:
- Have your lawn mower serviced and sharpened by our workshop between
November and March.
Ride-On Mowers (Domestic) - before cutting:
- Check engine oil levels before each cut
- Check cables for condition - throttle, blade engagement etc.
- Check battery condition if electric start
Ride-On Mowers (Domestic) - after cutting:
- Clean machine and cutting deck
- Check and clean the air intake screen on engine if dry, dusty
conditions
Ride-On Mowers (Domestic) - annually:
- Have your ride-on mower serviced and sharpened by our workshop
between November and March.
Ride-On Mowers (Commercial):
- As larger commercial machinery requires a greater level of
maintenance and service - MANUFACTURERS GUIDES MUST BE FOLLOWED.
These will be guided by the machines hour clock.
Only daily checks and lubrication should be attempted by users.
Most repairs and detailed services can only be undertaken by
trained staff with full workshop facilities.
